After 10 very successful years in Bengaluru, we finally thought we were ready to come to Mumbai. We realize that the cities are very different, and we needed to adapt 1522 to Mumbai’s vibe. We worked hard on the ‘Bar & Kitchen’ concept, aware that people here love to settle into one comfortable spot and spend the rest of the evening there, with great food, drinks and music. The rooftop location was a very conscious choice because in a space starved city, we want to offer an airy, fuller experience that can never be replicated in a regular enclosed space. The natural light, lot of greens and light breeze adds immensely to the 1522 experience. We promise to keep up our passion and enthusiasm to curate only the best 1522 culinary experience for each guest that walks through our door. That’s our lineage and we intend to carry it forward!”
